OUR PURCHASING PROCESS

PHASE 1 — DESIGN & DRAFTING

Get started by submitting a quote request, calling us, or sending over your own concept for a free 15-minute consultation. We develop your custom building design and present it for approval — typically within 7 business days. Unlimited revisions are included to ensure every detail is right.

PHASE 2 — ENGINEERING

Once approved, your plans are engineered to meet your local wind, snow, and code requirements — whether the structure is steel, stick-built, concrete, or block.

PHASE 3 — FABRICATION & PREP

We finalize the contract and release your building for fabrication. While materials are being manufactured, we help you stay on schedule by guiding permits, site prep, and concrete work (slab, piers, or perimeter footer) through vetted professionals in your state.

PHASE 4 — DELIVERY & ERECTION

We coordinate the full build through our network of licensed General Contractors and trade partners local to your area. We quarterback the process from delivery to final bolt — ensuring everything is installed correctly, efficiently, and to spec.

PHASE 5 — FINISHES AND Certificate of occupancy

In this final phase, our preferred General Contractors (GCs) take the lead to complete all interior and exterior finishes—flooring, cabinetry, trim work, fixtures, and paint—bringing your project to life with craftsmanship and attention to detail. They also handle the coordination of final inspections and secure the Certificate of Occupancy, confirming that your building meets all safety and code requirements. While Barns & Barndos provides the structural foundation and framework, our trusted network of GCs ensures the finishing phase delivers a polished, move-in-ready space that fully reflects your vision.
